Welcome Aspen Blog Hoppers!

It's that time again, the monthly Club Scrap Blog Hop featuring the Aspen Collection.

If you haven't started at the beginning of the hop, feel free to do so at the Club Scrap Creates Blog.

Club Scrap Greeting UM

Club Scrap Greeting, Border & Background and Collection UMs
I enjoyed the Aspen Unmounted Stamps so much that I decided to make more cards with a little dimension.

Easy steps to create the dimensional trees card with the UM Greeting sheet:

1. Stamp the birch tree image six times onto white paper with India Black ink. Sponge ink over three of the stamped trees. Trim trunks from the white trees.

2. Trim the colored trees and attach to a White card base. Adhere the white tree trunks with foam adhesive. Punch a 1" circle, sponge with Topaz ink, and adhere behind the third image.

For the card below, I added foam squares behind the leaves.

I created the dimensional cards below for the Aspen Scrap Rap at the beginning of the month. Check out the dimensional images here, too!

Fire & Ice Blog Hop Birthday Gift Box

Welcome to the Club Scrap Fire & Ice Blog Hop.

Kay's Keepsakes is #9 on the hop, so be sure to pop over to Club Scrap Creates if you want to start at the beginning!

My project using Club Scrap's November Fire & Ice Collection: The Birthday Gift Box

I used We R's Gift Box Punch Board to make this fun memento of Marilee's Birthday. It's a great tool, so you may want to consider picking one up,  if you don't have one already!

A little about the construction of this paper box:

Use the 12x12 Fire & Ice Navy and follow the Punch Board guidelines for making a 4x4x4 box.

Fill with contrasting paper mattes, photos, rubber stamped images and other memorabilia.

The Outside

The Inside
Use the Reverse Punch right on the Punch Board for creating the closure.

Hope you are enjoying the Fire & Ice Collection as much as I am!

Next on the hop is the lovely and very talented Cathy Gray, check out what she is up to here at the Artful Gamut.

Enjoy!

Club Scrap's Lock & Key Blog Hop

Welcome Lock & Key Blog Hoppers!

If you would like to start at the beginning, this blog hop originates from Club Scrap Creates. Today I simply have a greeting card that I enjoyed making using the Lock & Key Borders & Backgrounds Unmounted Stamps.

The card uses only two stamps, however I did stamp the swirl/script image twice so I could cut out the swirl portion to give the card a dimensional effect. After trimming out the swirl, I reattached it using foam squares.

I just can't get enough of the Lock & Key Stamps!
Enjoy the hop and thanks for stopping by.
Next on the hop is the talented Cathy at The Artful Gamut. Go check out the Lock & Key fun she has going on in her blog!

OWH World Card Making Day

Operation Write Home Friends,
Welcome to my stop on the hop. For those of you not familiar with Operation Write Home, check them out and join them in their mission to support our troops! Today is World Card Making Day and OWH is celebrating with this gigantic blog hop

I chose OWH Sketch #B-29 to model the background of my thank you card.

I used Club Scrap's fun Comics Unmounted Rubber Stamps for this card.

This is how you do it . . .

1. Stamp "thank you" inside the fun comic-style speech bubbles.

2. Stamp and color a background panel with your favorite colored pencils.

3. Trim the text bubbles and attach to the card panel with foam adhesive.

The Comics Thanks Wood Mounted Stamp was the perfect touch for the inside of this card.

Enjoy the OWH Blog Hop with all the inspiration it offers! Thank you for stopping by!

Club Scrap's Take Wing Blog Hop

Hello Take Wing Blog Hoppers!
If you've hopped here from Hetty's great blog, you are in the right place!

Take Wing Club Stamp Project done using my own papers.
Most of you know by now that I'm rather enthusiastic about projects, and the Take Wing Club Stamp Flip Photo Easel is no exception. Maybe you've already seen the Stamp Rap including this month's project below:

I couldn't stop at just one. Here I've used the components from the kit with my own papers for a different look on the same project.

This fun Tribal stamp worked well for the open space below where the pages hang.

The project serves as a nice way to display pics and other fun stuff. The pages hang from the dual ring binder that serves the purpose perfectly. Of course the pages can easily be changed around anytime!

Time for me to go decorate more and more hanging pages!

August's Tribal Blog Hop Is Here

Greetings fellow Club Scrap Tribal Blog Hoppers!

I look forward to seeing the crafting done with August's Tribal Kit. The event begins at the Club Scrap Creates site. Hop over there if you want to start at the beginning.

I'm enjoying the Tribal rubber stamps so much that I thought I'd design another Built-In Easel card. We've got some instructions for you on page 13 of the August Scrap Rap. For now I'm just going to let the pics do the talkin'. This time I made a 5x7" card.

Cut the horizontal slots to create a standing easel.

Tuck the strips into the slots.

The card has a greeting inside and lies flat for mailing.

Here is the 4-1/4x5-1/2" Built-In Easel card I made earlier this month.

Isn't that clever and easy? I hope you give it a try!

Next on the hop is Cathy at The Artful Gamet. Check out what cool things she is up to next! As always, thank you for stopping by and enjoy the Tribal blog hop.
